Biträdande rektor/Assistant Principal

Internationella Engelska Skolan in Eskilstuna is looking for a committed and dedicated professional for the role of Assistant Principal (Senior School) for the largest school in Sweden.

The school has a reputation for success and has picked up many awards for its academic performance and the quality of education offered. We educate more than 1,300 students across two sites, just over a kilometre apart. The senior school teaches more than 800 students in grades 6-9.

The position of Assistant Principal (Senior School) is vital to the success of the school. The Assistant Principal works in close cooperation with the Principal and helps coordinate all aspects of the school's activities; in particular the pastoral and student care policy implementation. The candidate will be responsible for managing the staff and students on a daily basis and must therefore have a genuine interest in working with a wide range of people.

In addition to being an able leader and manager you also need to be a flexible team player dealing with tasks that are challenging but at the same time rewarding. The Assistant Principal position in Eskilstuna will be full-time and permanent but with a six month probation period. Salary is set based on experience and qualifications.
