Black Belt Project Managers

ITT Water & Wastewater is a global provider of water handling and treatment solutions for municipal and industrial customers in more than 140 countries.ITT designs and delivers energy-efficient solutions and related services for water and wastewater transport, biological treatment, filtration and disinfection. Project Leaders and Change Agents We are currently looking for high potential candidates to be trained as Project Leaders and Change Agents.New Project Leaders will receive several weeks of in-depth training focused on Leadership Effectiveness, Six Sigma Problem Solving and applying Lean methodologies.Successful completion of training and completion of improvement projects will lead to Black Belt "Certification".We specialy welcome you who already is a experienced Black Belt.[ You will be based at ITT Water & Wastewater Headquarters in Sundbyberg supporting all functions within ITT Water & Wastewater[in their improvement work.You will be reporting to the VBLSS HQ Champion.Our expectation is that you will work as a Project Leader and Change Agent within our Value Based Lean Six Sigma organization for at least 3 years before moving on to other career opportunities within ITT Water & Wastewater.Role description Black Belts lead improvement activities and projects in coordination with the Value Based Lean Six-Sigma Champions and other improvement project teams.Project leadership includes identifying opportunities, defining and financially justifying projects and other change activities, launching project teams, managing team activities, removing and elevating project barriers, leading teams to execution, and tracking of project status and results.Black Belts provide training of co-workers and coaching of project team members and Green Belts to spread the base of Six Sigma problem solving tools and VBLSS culture.The expectations on our Black Belts are high and you will be on the frontline when it comes to driving and realizing activities tightly connected to company focus areas and future results.Qualification/Requirement .[You have a Master or Bachelors Degree preferably in Engineering/Business or equivalent work experience..[You have 5 years professional level experience and you have solid project management and team leadership skills..[You also have good PC and software skills and good understanding of statistical analysis methods..[Your English is excellent, both spoken and written.If you have good knowledge of other languages that is a plus.[ .[If you have prior supervisory experience, that is a definite advantage.Important characteristics are: analytical, customer-focused, result-oriented, innovative, assertive, influential and having an ability to understand and exceed the customer's expectation.Communication and presentation skills are important, as is leadership potential.Application Time Please send your application no later than December 14th, 2010.
