Right now, we are looking for four technician for our team in Borlänge, Sweden.

Vestas North and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, Finland, the Baltic’s, Germany and Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and the southern part of Afrika. We are responsible for sales, installation and service of wind farms throughout these regions. We have a regional office in Malmö as well as several warehouses around Sweden.
As a Blade Repair Service Technician, you will be part of the service department in Sweden/Finland with the responsibility of fiber (glass and carbon) repair in Sweden. The Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind farms within Scandinavia. Vestas North and Central Europe strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, not only in modern energy, but also in employee and customer satisfaction. With these ambitions, a service technician holds an important role as the frontline of our service agreements, taking care of the customers’ turbines. Responsibilities
The role includes inspection and repair of rotor blades, which is primarily performed by platforms. Your responsibilities will be:
Execute activities related to the blades maintenance processes in order to assure service level agreements and minimise service costs
Inspect the operational level of the blades assessed; register results on maintenance information systems in order to assure reliability of the information gathered and compliance of information procedures
Documentation of the job
Carry out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components
Create and maintain orders in SAP
Make travelling reservations and bookings according to plan

Qualifications
Electrical experience is a merit
Driver's license B, CE license is a merit
Fluency in Swedish is beneficial
Good communication, English skills in reading / writing and verbally
Basic knowledge of MS Office
Blade repair knowledge
Rope access or ActSafe knowledge

As we are working on a 7 day work 7 day off schedule you need to be able to be away from home during work weeks.

Additional information
The work schedule for this position is 7 + 7; work 7 days and free 7 days.
The starting point for the work week will be in Borlänge but the work performed will be anywhere in Sweden.
A requirement for this position is passing an extensive health check carried out during the recruitment process.
