Blade Engineering NCE is a new branch-out department focused on Technical support for sales and service in North and Central Europe (NCE).
The department supports all three pillars of Vestas service: Onshore, Offshore and Multi-brand (3rd party turbines)

Responsibilites
Severity assessment of Blade damages and mitigation actions to ensure safe and attested operation of the Blades under service in Vestas
Technical support to service sales, and the service contract managers (including direct customer support)
On-site assessment of Blade damages and reporting of these internally and externally


Qualifications
Engineering background (B.Sc. or higher) or highly experienced Blade Technician
Good technical understanding of Blade technology and repair methods for resin based products is beneficial (renewable energy sector, automotive, yacht and boat industry or aeronautics)
At least 2 years of professional experience on Engineer position or 5 years as Blade Technician. Good skills with composite materials repairs: carbon fiber or fiberglass- highly welcome
Experience with project management, people management and development
Professional stakeholder management
Good understanding of customer management and technical sales

Ability to convey complex problems in a pragmatic and accessible manner
Good overview and planning skills
Cause analysis experience (RCA)

Primary work location can be Berlin, Hamburg, (Germany), Ringkobing (Denmark), Malmö (Sweden) or Stettin (Poland)
