We are now looking for BMS Developer
 

You will be part of the Chapter Battery and Thermal Controls Engineering, which is one of five competence areas within the Software Tribe.

Our focus is to develop embedded vehicle software solutions for BMS and for thermal control.

  

We are now looking for an experienced and proactive BMS (Battery Management System) developer that will be facilitating the logical integration of the high voltage battery into the vehicles we develop. The work will be done in tight cooperation with System Engineers from other departments within NEVS as well as global partners and suppliers. All with the focus to combine the highest levels of safety and performance.

  

Previous experience from development of BMS is required and if you have experience within functional safety (ISO 26262) it is even better.

The role involves:

- Support the development of vehicle level requirements.
- Develop and maintain component level requirements for BMS.
- Support the development of design proposals on vehicle level.
- Develop design proposals for BMS and implement BMS functionality.
- Perform unit testing of BMS implementations.
- Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.
- Maintain and evolve the development environment.
- Mentoring of colleagues.

         

 We are looking for someone who has:

- Several years of experience from developing automotive embedded controls software with high real-time requirements, including BMS.
- Domain knowledge of High Voltage Systems.
- Experience from development with MATLAB/Simulink.
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree.
- Ability to share expertise to colleagues.
- Fluent English skills, both spoken and written.
- Experience with Autosar and ISO26262 is a plus.
