Job description
The primary purpose of the Bogie System Engineer is to ensure that the system fulfills all requirements.
This consists of;
-Specifying the system requirements and document the system solution
-Supporting to supply management with all technical documentation necessary for a successful sourcing of the system
-Ensuring that technical risks of the system are identified and strategies for mitigation of the risks are developed and to lead the integration towards the Bogie System (BGI) division.
Specifically for the system; The role holder will be delivering the particular deliverables of the project including scope, quality, and timeliness, with the resources committed in the Blue Book.
The role holder will be making the technical evaluation with BGI division and ensuring proper integration (electrical, functional and physical) with other systems in the bogie. The successful Bogie System Engineer will ensure technical compliance with both the client specification and the regulatory authorities demands coupled with planning the system work packages together with the Vehicle Engineer. Finally the role holder will execute project tasks according to BES and project specific rules and regulations.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold a Mechanical Engineer Master Degree or Mechatronics Engineer Master Degree with three to five years relevant functional experience.
Perfect skills in MS Office and knowledge of MS Project are highly desirable.
Functional Skills required include system knowledge from propulsion, brake, carbody and underframe.
International experience is a distinct advantage in international projects. You should also have vehicle knowledge and knowledge of product development.
It is essential to be fluent in both English and Swedish.
