About the team/role
The Branch Merchandiser team is expanding and we are now looking for another star to join the GANT family.
The Brand Merchandiser function is a key part of the Global Planning & Merchandise team, with the main purpose to drive sales and optimize stock in the retail business.
The Branch Merchandiser will send appropriate stock to stores by monitoring sales and setting inventory targets. Following the global guidelines, they will ensure seasonal marketing stories, initiatives, and key consumer moments are catered for. They will be the expert at the allocation process for their market. The Branch Merchandiser will work with local markets and be part of the global team.
Responsibilities
Store Inventory Management
Implement and manage the seasonal allocation plan across stores
Ensure each store's supply and demand match.
Running replenishment according to target parameters and forecasting – Manage Replenishment parameters
Adjust sizing curve to ensure optimum inventory at store level
Monitoring stock capacity levels and make recommendations and take actions based on trading patterns
Provide recommendations on x-channel stock transfers

Analysis
Contributing to weekly trade meetings and create weekly reporting
Review, analyse and propose adjustments to allocation plans and strategy throughout the season
Review product performance.
Best & slow-seller management
Ad hoc reporting to support business needs

Cross-functional
Work closely with global and local, Merchandise Planning, Inventory Procurement, Supply chain and Retail Operation teams to make sure stores have right assortment and enough merchandise to support New Collection Launch, Marketing activities and Markdown so as to secure company sales targets and brand image
Maintaining a close partnership with markets to ensure maximisation of sales (Store Planner), inventory, and stock turn (regional Planner).
Work with the inventory and procurement team to set optimal stock levels for stores
Work with the logistics team setting warehouse forecasts for incoming and outgoing stocks



Your skills
Bachelor's degree
Retail merchandising experience
Experience with inventory management,
Strong organisational and time management skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; computer proficient with Microsoft applications
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise workload, adapt to change and maintain composure under pressure.
Strong systems understanding
Strong Excel understanding
Fluent in English
