Our vision is to make the world a more empathetic place with great stories to be shared and enjoyed by anyone, anywhere, anytime. We are now looking for a Brand copywriter to join the team!
About the Role
As the Brand copywriter, you will play an important part when it comes to continuously building and strengthening our brand. You are going to have to be flexible and have a can-do attitude. Working with internal stakeholders, you will be the lead of our global tone of voice and set guidelines for how we express ourselves in writing towards customers, partners, publishers etc.
Main responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally to establish and secure brand tonality across the organization
- Develop and maintain global copy/tonality guidelines for our master brand as well as our strategic products (e.g., Storytel Awards, Storytel Reader, Storytel Originals, etc.)
- Write campaign copy for in-house productions
- Develop and maintain a brand “copy bible”
- Oversee translations and localizations and be proactive in optimizing that process while keeping our tone of voice intact.
About the Team
The Brand & campaigns team sets the brand strategy and is responsible for global brand and marketing assets. The team is in charge of developing global campaigns and growing the brand toolbox. As Brand Copywriter, you’ll report to the Head of Brand & Campaigns and work closely with other team members e.g., campaign planners, designers etc. You’ll also collaborate closely with global functions and local markets. Together with our UX-writer, you will form a cross-functional duo to ensure our brand voice comes across in everything we do - from campaigns and collaborations, all the way to the core of our product. You’ll also be an important stakeholder among our agencies and other external partners.
About You
Being a world-class communicator with strong storytelling skills you are someone who is ready to help take our brand to the next level! You are a team player who thrives in working independently with a self-leader mentality in a high-paced environment. This is for someone who thrives when they get to mix creativity with structure.
To be successful in the role we believe that you have:
- 5+ years’ experience of professional copywriting in English
- An understanding of building strong consumer brands
- Agency background or similar experience of hands-on copywriting and brand building activities
- Experience in writing for a wide range of channels and formats
- Great presentation skills
For some bonus points you have:
- Experience from global organizations
- Experience in translating tonality into different cultures and languages
