Within the Communications department, the Brand team builds the equity of the Vattenfall’s brand portfolio in line with the Corporate brand strategy and purpose, so that the brands add value to the overall commercial results of Vattenfall. The Brand team sets strategic directions for Vattenfall’s brands to build an international coherent brand, suitable for all our target audiences.

Your tasks and responsibilities as Brand Media Manager
In your role you will have the overall responsibility to steer cost-effective implementation of Vattenfall branded communications in all relevant channels with the aim to achieve the highest possible levels of awareness and engagement. The main KPI is brand awareness in all countries. You are a communication specialist who develops and implements content for various media platforms. You research and optimize media, implement and manage media campaigns and focus on reaching the maximum number of target audiences at the lowest possible costs with the highest engagement.
Your main job tasks will be:
International brand communications media implementation for Europe or specific markets and/or brands in the Group brand portfolio
Create a strategy to achieve the largest reach and impact from our media sources and which media to use, when and at what costs
Evaluate and monitor Group channel and media performance benchmarks and overall media cost with agencies
Track international brand performance, apply insights and competitor and customer insights analysis. Set KPIs for media effectiveness and evaluate against set KPIs
Recommend Brand Management on media policies development for maximum effectiveness
International agency management and procurement
Set the yearly budget in the Business Plan and managing the delegated (project) budget of. Allocate budgets across all markets
Steering of and work closely with external providers, agencies and internal stakeholders. Management and alignment with in- and external stakeholders, contracts, budgets, etc.
Best practices – work closely with all departments to share best practice and strategy and encourage the business to deliver on Brand strategy

Your qualification as a Brand Media Manager:
Relevant higher education (preferably a university degree) in Marketing Communications or Branding
5-10 years work experience from a similar role.
Proven experience in marketing/branding in a complex corporate environment.
Experience in developing brand strategies, especially for corporations where reputational risks and public acceptance are prominent
Ability to develop brand strategies, execution tools, and activation platforms with direct reference to business challenges and stakeholder perceptions leading to added commercial value.
Experience working with media implementation and media (tracking) effectiveness.
Good understanding and experience working with different sorts of media channels ATL and BTL. Understanding purpose and target groups of main brand media.
Advanced in English both written and oral.
Experience working with media econometric modelling is considered a merit
