The Brand Product team is looking for people who can dream, create and lead. We partner up with the entire Marketing & Brand and Communications team, as well as regions and markets, to lead the marketing work for Volvo Cars consumer product lines – both vehicle and digital. Our team of brand product experts solves business challenges by co-creating effective marketing strategies, an optimized marketing mix and consistent brand messaging throughout the various stages of a product’s lifecycle – across regions and markets.

In the Brand Product team, you are the driving force for executing the brand vision, positioning and the strategy for telling, in daring ways, Volvo Cars’ purpose driven stories for the digital product you own. The ideal candidate is a team player with an inclusive, collaborative leadership style and will have product marketing, digital marketing and communications experience. You will also be able to demonstrate strong business acumen and commercial intuition.

The role provides you the opportunity to drive Volvo Cars consumer product lines – both vehicle and digital. In partnership with the Marketing & Brand and Communications team – you will shape our story from the very first chapter. Collaborating with a wide range of key functions such as Product Strategy, Retail, Business Operations, Design, Consumer Experience you will define, develop and lead initiatives that move the needle for both our business and our brand. Uniting with Brand Strategy and Creative Strategy is essential on product positioning, messaging and key product content and own the consistency across all customer touch points.

We are a flat organization with a Go-Get-Attitude, and we act as a strong team to get things done to enable the business to be successful. We work with speed and engagement in a collaborative manner. You will be part of the Global Marketing & Brand Team and report to the Head of Global Brand Management.

Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Brand Management, Marketing, Business, Communication or equivalent expertise
* 5+ years demonstrated success in project management roles from Brand Management, Product Marketing, Product Management with a strong focus on product and brands with a global impact.
* Highly analytical and capable of leveraging data-driven insights and track product performance to develop actionable recommendations for Brand Product strategies throughout the product lifecycle
* As part of a cross-functional and international team, it is of essence that your English skills are impeccable, both verbal and written
