We are now looking for an experienced, dedicated and dynamic Brand Strategy Director who wants to be part of our global brand team.


In this role you will report to the VP Head of Global Brand Marketing.

Our team represents and support all Business Areas, Market Areas and Group Functions at Ericsson. We are developing the Ericsson brand and sub-brands and ensuring they are compelling and differentiated in the eyes of our target audiences.


The team collaborates closely with Marketing and Corporate Relations and broader business partners to articulate what the Ericsson brand stands for and position Ericsson as the technology leader, preferred employer, and partner for strengthening the connected world. In addition, the team is also responsible for driving our company-wide approach to brand design, and crafting its translation into marketing, communications, and product design.


What you will do
Be a champion and ambassador of Ericsson’s brand and purpose, a voice of the brand and a subject matter authority on all aspects of our brand. Support product teams in Business Areas, Research, Technology and Market Areas with their branding needs.
Provide strategic feedback to VP Global Brand Marketing for the Marketing and Corporate Relations strategy definition and planning process.
Develop strategic briefs for brand campaigns, provide input and collaborate with internal content, campaigns, creative teams and external agencies.
Help build, together with Global Integrated Marketing, an execution plan with brand initiatives to grow Ericsson revenues by improving brand awareness and equity globally and positioning Ericsson as an inspiring leader in the world of technology.
Be the strategic brand partner in integrated marketing squads to create outstanding campaigns. Cooperate with creative teams to create content and campaigns for compelling Omni-channel marketing output.
Develop global brand training programs and brand assets for colleagues and external partners to promote understanding and integrity of our brands.
Build guidelines and frameworks to help internal and external parties develop marketing programs in line with our brand guidelines. Making sure that we are represented with consistency across channels by internal teams as well as external partners.
Develop insights-based recommendations to deliver effective brand experiences. Manage input to the development of customer, partner and market insights to guide brand-related decision making, develop measurement plans and use insights and data to track and evaluate brand health and performance.



You will bring
10+ years of relevant work experience from building and rethink strong brands on client and/or agency side.
Solid strategic brand and marketing knowledge from a global brand or a portfolio of global brands in preferably a B2B and/or technology context
An innovative strategic problem solver with strong analytical and fresh thinking skills who understand business complexities, insights driven and translate data into action.
Strong teammate and leader with consistent track record to lead through influence and work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a matrixed global organization
Experience with outside agencies and partners.
International experience, excellent English language skill
