Brazilian Portuguese Editor at Newsner

Newsner.com is run by the Stockholm based content marketing agency nyheter365. Launched in Swedish in September 2014 we quickly became the number one Swedish viral site and during spring our Swedish site attracts about 2 million unique visitors per week.
Since January Newsner.com is also available in Spanish and English. In May we reached 26 million unique visitors globally, with US as the biggest country making Newsner a US top 200 site.

We are now searching for a Brazilian Portuguese editor to lead our expansion to this market.
Main responsibilities:
- Take responsibility of the Portuguese content, which includes what to be published and when.
- Translate and adapt content from Swedish to Portuguese.
- Initiate new unique ideas and articles for the Portuguese content.
- Rewrite content from other sites and make it fit in on Newsner.
- Analyze content on the Portugese page; take actions based on results and report internally.

Other responsibilities include managing and producing content for native advertising campaigns for nyheter365.

Requirements:
You should write Portuguese well
You have probably been working as a journalist before, but you may have other qualifications that will make you fit in the role.
You must be a team player.
It's a plus if you are experienced or skilled in writing headlines.
It's a plus if you are good with numbers as we are very data driven.
It's a plus if you are also a fluent writer in Swedish.
Other language skills are considered an advantage.
Any experience with video is a plus.
