Broadcast Solution Architect

Ardendo is a software company focusing on development of systems for digital media management and IT-based broadcasting.Our international customer base includes several well known broadcasting companies, including SVT, CNN and the EBU.Our customers use Ardendo software in mission critical production operations such as media management, ingest, transcoding, editing and archiving.The last years have been very rewarding for Ardendo.Good publicity at large exhibitions, satisfied reference customers, and strong partnerships, have given us a growing number of customers and business opportunities all over the world.With a current staff of 50, Ardendo is currently expanding to meet the requirements imposed by an increasing international customer base.In addition, we are also accelerating product development to sustain our technological leadership.We are currently searching for a highly motivated person with a master's degree in computer science, and an interest in technically demanding work.The majority of our systems are delivered to customers outside Sweden, which makes travel an integral part of the corporate culture.Travel will be required.We are now looking for a senior solution architect.You will be based in Stockholm to be part of the group that manages product development and the work to transform customer requirements into solution blueprints.We have a fast growing market in India.Hence, knowledge of additional Indian languages (North and South) is preferred since the company does not possess these skills today. Skills sought: * Local knowledge of the Indian broadcaster market.* Fluency in Indian languages (spoken and written), preferably Hindi.Excellent communications skills.Fluent in English, both writing and speaking.Additional language skills are also meriting.* Experience in creating solutions with Media Asset Management Broadcast Graphics, and Newsroom Automation and Playout.Skills required: * Experience with Vizrt software, including internals, for broadcast graphics on Irix, Linux and Windows * Experience of implementing mission critical systems is essential as well as experience with designing and deploying large scale ethernet TCP/IP LANs * Relevant experience of professional system administration and documented experience with platforms such as Solaris, OS X, FreeBSD, OpenBSD To be eligible you should have the following qualifications: * Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent * Self motivated, and responsive to customer requirements * Comfortable in technically complex environments * Skilled at transforming customer visions into working solutions Ardendo always practices probationary employment.
