Business Analyst

Nasdaq is looking for a Business Analyst with a background in finance and IT to join the Nasdaq Realtime Risk & Pricing (NRTR) Team. NRTR is a comprehensive risk engine, which provides real-time exchange margin, market risk, counterparty risk and P&L services in the face of increasing regulatory scrutiny and capital compression. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet customer needs; our technology must be real-time, robust and able to keep up with even the most demanding market conditions.


As a Business Analyst, you will act as the interface between our clients and the IT organization by translating business processes and needs into detailed functional requirements. Additionally, you will ensure that the team of developers and testers has a clear understanding of the clients requirements. The role will be based in Stockholm, but might on occasion involve international travel to our other offices and clients.


The Role & Responsibilities:


-Elicit detailed business and system requirements from business owners and stakeholders
-Design functional solutions for clients and document requirements
-Support the cross-functional teams in implementing product requirements
-Take part in customer demos of ongoing functional development
-Provide input into project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget
-Assist the technical writer in production of operational and user documentation including release notes
-Ensure operational and user documentation is accurate and complete
-Facilitate workshops- provide user training on new functionality and handle user queries regarding system functionality


Who you are:


-You have a degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance or related discipline
-A few years of experience working as a Business -Analyst or project manager with experience managing large-scale projects and deliveries
-Experience using Jira and / or Confluence
-Confident in taking initiative and proposing solutions
-Work experience as a Business Analyst within the finance industry is required with knowledge of risk and pricing.
