About the job
IKEA is on a journey to create a connected flow of product information across the value chain. Building new structures will set the foundation for implementing the new identifiers and is a prerequisite to connect the value chain and enabling a simplified and cost- conscious way of working. By using a Compliance and Verification Management (CVM) system IKEA is enabling a collaborative and efficient product insurance process to ensure that our products fulfill IKEA internal and legal requirements.
As a Business Analyst you explore and define business needs and the rational for change and recommend solutions that deliver business values. This role requires both a strategic and operational business understanding as well as a technical understanding for the specific area of responsibility.
As a Business Analyst you will mainly work with following:
Requirements Management & Solution Evaluation
Elicit, challenge and document improvement areas and stakeholders’ need and transform those into value-adding solutions through functional requirements, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, user stories etc.
Facilitate the identification and elaboration of feasible business solutions for process, organization and service with business modelling while managing expectations among the stakeholders.
Clarify business needs during definition and validation of high level & low level design in cooperation with architects and developers.
Review test plans and test cases to ensure compliance to the requirements. Support the planning and execution of testing activities.
Contribute to the creation of solution documentation in co-operation with process/business teams and IT Suppliers. Contribute to the creation of the ‘learning offer’ for the solution including training materials and delivery of training.

This will be done both for our existing solution and the new CVM solution in creation.
About You
You are passionate about business and technology and appreciate the mix of strategic thinking and turning trends and requirements into practice. You get energized by working interdependently in agile teams. You are the type of person that can manage to see the big picture as well as the details and you collaborate and communicate with your stakeholders to build trust and partnership to reach our common goals.
To be successful in this role you need to have:
Experience in business analysis, requirements engineering process and configuration management.
Experience working with Product Compliance and Verification management and preferably also Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Good at facilitating, planning, and managing workshops and activities.
Good at identify, analyze, document and challenge business needs.
Good understanding of project and software lifecycle management.
Steering according to processes and methods for developing, integrating, and building IT systems.
Have good understanding of working in agile environments.
Required/relevant work experience or educational background such as:
University degree or equivalent
Strong business analysis experience
Experience in driving digital change in a constantly changing environment

Preferred:
Experience from equal/comparable position
Experience from product development
Experience from solutions from PTC

We work in an international environment which could lead to some travelling but primary location for this assignment is Älmhult.
