Arbetsbeskrivning
At IKEA, food is at our heart, and we aim to make healthy, sustainable and affordable choices accessible for all. To make that happen, we need people with imagination and passion. People who know that everyone has a right to feel at home. People who share our vision of a better everyday life.
Together we’ll innovate the future of life at home through data, technology, retail and home furnishing know-how. We need ‘common sense makers’! Are you one of them?
Food will frog-leap towards the future Supply Chain Planning and Range management, and we aim high. You’ll be instrumental in setting our future business model and its digital capability. You are naturally a key player that can, with ease, agree with top management about ‘visions’, lead subject matter experts towards the details needed and hand over to the function developing the solution. At IKEA you can claim the position of designing the future and we want those that relish this challenge.
As a Business Analyst at Digital Food, your role is broad and flexible. You’ll be responsible for eliciting the solution’s business requirements by being the natural partner voice during all steps in the business development process (including running the service). On a day-to-day basis, this can mean creating and maintaining requirements, deliverables, and discussing processes/working methods related to the solutions, in all aspects.
This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and based in Malmö, Sweden. This role sits in the Food Digital and reports to Programme Manager for Food Digital.
About IKEA
At IKEA, we do things a little different. We think, differently. Act, differently. And work differently as well. We like to break things. Like rules. And then make things. Like music-playing lamps. And beds disguised as sofas. Even plantballs that help us look after our planet. It’s all part of our vision - to create a better everyday life for the many. And it’s been keeping our co-workers going for over 75 years. By 2030, we hope to help millions more look forward to going home. Maybe you can help us
Food Digital
One important part of the IKEA Concept is Food. In Food Digital we co-create the business plans for IKEA Food and together with stakeholders across IKEA, develop and implement these solutions, and support the continuous operation when needed.
The success of IKEA is to a large extent based on passion and getting things done. Food Digital is a fast-moving organisation with a big and complex agenda where things are changing every day – which we expect you to feel comfortable with and inspired by.
The Integrated Food Store Supply programme is one of the largest change initiatives within IKEA Food, developing two new capabilities for the business:
iFoodStore, which are processes and tools to optimize operations in the IKEA stores, e.g. goods receiving, inventory management, replenishment, etc.
iFoodPlan, which are processes and tools for planning the range and forecasting with the purpose to create transparency between global Business Area Food and the retail markets of what and how much is sold where and when.
The capabilities are integrated and are key contributors to the end-to-end value chain for IKEA Food. During spring 2022 the capabilities will be piloted in one of the IKEA markets and over the next years, they will be rolled out globally as well as further improved and optimised.
To clarify our work from home policy
At IKEA we believe that we’re better when we’re physically together for collaboration, dialogues and conversations. We believe in the power of human interactions; the informal chats, the energy, belonging and creativity generated by people being in the same place. Our approach is that we spend most of our time in the IKEA workplace and with flexibility to work from home when relevant.
To describe our culture
Another thing fuelling our success is our values-based culture. While we are unique individuals with endless differences, something we share is our commitment to lead by example, work together, find better ways and to get things done. We believe in life-long learning, where we all play a part in helping each other (and our business) grow.
