We are on an exciting journey within Volvo Group Digital & IT. Digital Delivery is a new function within the Volvo Group Digital & IT that aims to identify and execute new digital initiatives and modernize existing solutions across the Volvo Group brands. With a new product-centric operating model and modern technology architecture, we create digital products that are profitable, scalable, and differentiated. We use a cross-functional approach to work on product design and deliveries that improves business performance and creates value for the entire Volvo Group. Who are you?


As a Business Analyst, I interface with customers and identify their needs. In my work, I’m responsible for delivering solutions that support business requirements, using various technologies, products, and platforms. I interact with integration software architects and engineers to provide the right solutions and expertise. In my work, I balance various aspects of the delivery, from end to end. Additionally, I research and advise the best digital & IT solutions for digital transformation projects and products. My expertise is a key component of successful digital transformation processes making them efficient and effective.


What you will do
Lead in delivering the identified solution with a focus on internal consumers
Provide detailed functional and non-functional requirements and specifications for proposed solutions including the time and scope involved, breaking down requirements, and adding to the board as detailed tasks
Work closely with business contacts and act as a bridge to the Product/Project teams to ensure products and solutions are available and working properly,
Ensure that the solution developed complies with given specifications and business partner quality requirements and ensure the usage of standards, tools, and platforms
Identify and propose solutions and features to fit the product
Solve assigned issues together with the business
Collaborate with the UX Design team on the redesign of the Integration portal

The team of API & Integration engineers regularly collects feedback on the product and adjusts for the next Sprint.


You will work closely with stakeholders across the Volvo Group to be in line with changing business needs. You will create the right environment for your team members to deliver value to the organization.


Key responsibilities:
Coach software engineers in self-management and cross-functionality
Support the team to accomplish and flow, focus on creating high-value increments that meet the agreed Definition of Done
Causing the removal of impediments to the Team’s progress
Ensuring that all agreed agile events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox
Leads team efforts in continuous learning and improvement

Other skills:
Strong proficiency in IT Business Analysis and agile methodologies
Understand principles of data storage and messaging solutions
Confident and strong communication and documentation skills
Proficiency in Open API specification
Relevant University degree or similar
Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Good team player – must be able to work with people at different levels of the organization and in a global team
