Business Analyst

We are in a very exciting phase and you can be a part of this journey. We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst who wants to join our team to help us develop the next generation of our market leading ERP system for the Nordics.

Visma Business is one of the leading Enterprise Resource Planning and Financial systems in the Nordic markets, and we are currently rebuilding this as a full blown cloud solution.

Your challenge:

We are looking for a business analyst who will be responsible for pinpointing the needs of the market and suggesting efficient solutions, to join our team. You have extensive experience with accounting practice, and thorough knowledge of relevant accounting rules and regulations - either within Swedish or Norwegian legislation.

Your responsibilities:

- Responsible for describing the needs of the market and other stakeholders through user stories and requirement specifications so that they are sufficiently clear and understandable for the development team

- Suggest efficient solutions meeting the needs of the end-user

- Support the developers in understanding and detailing the stories/specifications

- Conception, planning and execution of test activities, both manual and automated

- Work with specifications, implementation and testing of features

- Investigate and propose solutions for escalated support cases

- Produce end-user documentation

- Contribute to team planning and suggest priorities for development according to market values



Our perfect candidate:

- Relevant education in business, finance, economics or similar

- 5+ years experience working with accounting

- Strong understanding of business processes and customer requirements relating to accounting

- Experience working with Visma Business in particular is an advantage but not necessarily a prerequisite

- You do not need any formal qualifications within computer science, but we do require that you have an interest for and understanding of modern IT technology and software development

- Flexible and solution-oriented - you see the value of interdisciplinary work

- Full proficiency in English

Our team is international, located in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Romania. For this position the office location will, depending on your background and location, be either at the Visma Headquarters at Skøyen, centrally in Oslo, or at our office in Malmö, Sweden.
