About the job:
You will be a crucial part of the Time Critical Support (TCS) Remote team in Skövde as Business Analyst. You are an essential part of our constant strive for Customer Success! Your main focus will be quality and continuous improvement in our delivery. This requires good business knowledge and a holistic view of systems/applications for the Volvo plants within TCS Remote´s scope.
The daily work, which is supported by tools such as SNOW, VPS and Kaizen, aims at developing yourself, the team and the company through cross-functional collaboration between your own team, Onsite teams, maintenance, HCL and other teams within Group Digital & IT.
This position also means a seat in the local Focus Area IT team – in which you contribute to our important VPS journey. You also work close with core business representatives - promoting the use of digital enablers. You will meet expectations and support with making the digital transformation as seamless as possible, to maximize value creation.
The Business Analyst is a crucial role for our team and requires good understanding of the business goals, stakeholder needs and our supported plants – both operational and system wise.
In addition to the above, you act as a mentor for the junior members of the team, meaning that you coach and support them in their day-to-day work in order to keep the delivery steady and the quality at the expected level.
Some of the activities you will be working with are:
Update and maintain crucial instructions and information sources frequently used by TCS Remote
Drive implementations / changes of support scope
Work closely with local VPS teams at Onsite and GTO
Have a holistic view of the health and needs of the delivery´s quality
Analyze and follow up cases day by day to identify training needs or quality flaws
Participate in recurring quality huddles to stay updated on the quality level, challenges and ongoing disturbances within the region
Be the driver in our continuous improvement work
Continuously strive to improve existing ways of working
Understand complex issues and identify opportunities and risks
Support quality assurance activities of end user support, for example root cause analysis and end-to-end support quality
About you:
We expect you to have a degree from university studies and a couple of years of experience working with support and/or quality assurance to support production or similar.
You have a customer value driven mindset and the ability to define the right priorities for our stakeholders to succeed.
You have solid knowledge of support tools such as Remedy and/or Service Now that gives you the necessary foundation to deliver good results. In addition, you are a great team player and always look to further develop yourself and others.
Qualifications / requirements for the job:
Relevant university degree
2-3 years of experience from working with support and/or quality assurance
Previous experience from IT within manufacturing industry
Experience from LEAN and working with continuous improvements
Basic knowledge in Volvo Production System
A curious and quality driven mindset, that always seeks to disclose the real root cause of any issue
Good communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
Driving license
