Want to drive digital change in the automotive space?
At Volvo Cars, we are making bold digital visions come true. We aim to lead in the automotive world by creating a digital ecosystem built around making our customers' lives less complicated. Now we are looking for a curious and creative person who wants to be part of the journey to transform the way we take decisions.

Volvo Cars is performing a strategic shift towards becoming a software driven company, with data being a core asset in this transformation. Within our cluster we are in the process of establishing the foundation for future analytical capabilities. One challenge today is information being scattered across several applications – our mission is to simplify and make this data accessible for our people. Furthermore, we are aiming towards having one single source of truth for the data and to enable efficient governance of the data used.

What you’ll do:
You will join the Supply Chain Logistics cluster within Digital Core at Volvo Cars. This product cluster delivers digital solutions that support our business customers in ensuring stable logistics flows, achieving company sustainability targets and supporting the transformation journey to online sales and direct consumer relations. We work according to the SAFe framework; 2-week sprints and 12-week PI-increments. However, we’re open-minded about it and are constantly evaluating how to work in the best way, applying common sense to ensure as little waste as possible.

As an experienced Business Analyst, you will be serving as liaison between the development team and different stakeholders. You understand the customer needs and benefits and translate those into the backlog items for the development teams. You will conceptualizing and visualizing the gathered information in a structured and pedagogic way.
You will support product backlog creation and refinement, enable pre-studies and opportunity analysis, facilitate workshops with stakeholders for business modelling with a focus on creating the business value. You will do mapping, dependency analysis and breakdown of business needs, encouraging and supporting the team in communication with stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:
You have solid experience as a business analyst, combined with deep knowledge in supply chain management and logistics. In this role you will need to be a highly effective communicator and collaborator, with great analytical skills and critical thinking. You have the ability to define the business value and holistically create a base for decision-making. You have previous exposure to User Experience visualisation skills. You can communicate in English both verbally and in writing.

As a person, you are creative, curious, visionary, self-propelled, ready to work efficiently. You are open to new ideas and always looking for ways to improve. An analytical mindset and an eagerness to learn are two very important qualities to have. You share knowledge within the team. You are motivated, forward-thinking and you work for innovation. You will enable us to push the boundaries of what’s possible. We trust you to own your decisions in your field of expertise.

Want to know more? We hope so.
