What you’ll do?
At Volvo Cars Indirect Procurement we are now recruiting a Business Analyst within Logistics Procurement. This role is cross-functional with a global perspective and will provide the candidate with a unique insight and learning opportunity in a highly professional procurement organization.
You will be part of the logistics sourcing team to manage key sourcing projects, that are run in the sourcing platform Coupa, by securing facts and analytics that will enable effective business decisions.
The key responsibilities include:
• RFQ preparation and analytics, negotiation strategy preparation, supplier market analytics, detailed spend category analytics, category profiling and cost modeling.
• Communicate results and ideas in a clear and concise way to key decision makers also on top management level and drive a change in how the solutions are adopted.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain data analytics strategies and roadmaps to align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain key business reports and Power Bi sites.
• Coach and develop team members in data analytics, act as a technical expert, guide other team members in technical aspects.

In essence, an ideal sourcing analyst combines a data-driven mindset with a keen understanding of the business's strategic goals, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.
We believe our candidate has:
• Business, financial, or technical University BSc degree or higher
• Relevant work experience primarily in procurement
• Excellent written and spoken fluency in English
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI and experience in handling of large datasets
• Experience in Coupa - sourcing optimization tool, would be beneficial
