Business Analyst

Job Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a dynamic organization and play a key role in analyzing, defining, and optimizing business processes within Recovery and As-Is operations. The focus of this role is on gathering detailed requirements, analyzing processes, and translating them into actionable insights for development teams. You will collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams to ensure digital solutions align with operational efficiency goals and sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis
Conduct detailed analysis of business needs in collaboration with Recovery team stakeholders, including Product Owners, Operations, and Sustainability teams.
Document requirements for new features, process improvements, and enhancements, ensuring alignment with operational and sustainability objectives.
Translate high-level business goals into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

2. Process Mapping and Optimization
Analyze and document current business processes within Recovery, identifying inefficiencies and areas for digital transformation.
Propose and document optimized workflows to align with operational goals and sustainability metrics.
Create comprehensive end-to-end process documentation in line with standardized practices.

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams to clarify requirements and gather feedback.
Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and product demonstrations to validate solutions and gain stakeholder alignment.
Maintain transparency by regularly updating stakeholders on progress, findings, and changes to requirements.

4. Data-Driven Insights
Use insights from operational data, customer feedback, and Business Insights to evaluate feature performance and user satisfaction.
Collaborate with Product Owners to define KPIs and metrics for assessing the impact of digital solutions.
Propose data-driven improvements to ensure solutions support organizational objectives.

5. Agile Collaboration and Support
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning and Reviews, providing clarification on requirements as needed.
Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and refine the backlog, ensuring feasibility and alignment with sprint goals.
Track requirement changes to maintain alignment with strategic objectives.


Qualifications Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within retail, supply chain, or sustainability-focused environments.
Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and data analysis techniques.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and experience supporting cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications.
Knowledge of Recovery and As-Is operations is essential; operational experience is highly advantageous.
Background in D365 F&O and/or Commerce development is a plus.

Admission and ApplicationFull time, office hours. Our client wishes to start 2024-12-02 and the assignment is expected to run until 2025-03-01 with possibility of extension. You will be employed by JobBusters as a consultant with our exciting client.
