We’re looking for a Business Analyst for our AI & Automation move to join our newly established team at Sandvik that is aimed to enable and drive the adoption of AI & Automation in the organization. Briefly about the job
In this position, you provide the best-in-class offerings together with thought-out leadership in order to help our organization to excel. You guide in the usage of new tools and technologies as well as communicating with different stakeholders on all levels. You help identify the needs of our business and support us in defining suitable strategies for progressing forward. Navigating in an international business environment, like this one, you take on an advisory role since much of our future work will be to support our decentralized organization in the most efficient way possible. Your role is to enable capability creation and acceleration when we now embark on this exciting journey!
You report to the Head of IT – HR, Finance & Emerging tech and are seated in Stockholm or Sandviken, although other international locations could be considered for the right candidate.
We want to build a community where we establish best practices and learn from each other. The technology landscape is moving so fast that we constantly need to update our skills and the person we’re looking for is somebody used to constantly renewing themselves to stay current.
This is you
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or any other related field. Added to this, further education in Business Administration is advantageous for this position. You have an extensive background in AI and automation, with the understanding of how to correctly implement these practices in your work. You also have other hands-on experience within different characteristics of engineering and Machine Learning:
Defining AI and Automation use cases, building tech organizations and driving growth
Understanding of both new and old product offerings, together with knowledge of the value they bring and the ecosystem surrounding them
Deep understanding of Data Analytics
Teaching data science or training customers
Have previously worked in an international environment
Understanding of the Machine Learning ecosystem and different business value drivers
Your personality is marked by an analytical and structured mindset – together with clear communication and initiative, you’re able to simplify complex topics and in turn articulate them in an understandable manner.
