Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Scania’s purpose is to drive the shift towards a sustainable transport system, creating a world of mobility that is better for business, society, and the environment. Finance & Business Control (F&BC) support the shift by enabling better business through relevant and qualitative reporting and follow-up of the operations. We are looking for a Business Analyst and Product Owner with great experience in both group reporting and system maintenance who will contribute to the development and strengthening of our team!
Group Accounting is a department within Corporate Control, which is responsible for group accounting, consolidation, and follow-up of the Scania group. Deliveries from the department include reports and analysis of the financial performance of the Scania group to Scania’s CFO and executive board as well as reporting to the parent company Traton AG and financial reports to the market. An important tool for this today is our Oracle HFM installation.
Job summary
You will be the business partner regarding system changes within business and have the overall business perspective of impacts of changes in tight collaboration with our IT team, two dedicated colleagues in the department and the group financial controllers.
• Product Owner of our mapping tool FDMEE, (Financial Data Quality Management) a data integration tool from Oracle. Used to transform data and metadata from a variety of sources into a consumable format for Hyperion products like HFM. We make many changes to the advanced mapping logic. A solid knowledge of HFM Hyperion Financial Management system is therefore a big advantage.
• Participating in determining standards and best practices as related to the financial close and consolidation process.
• Conduct deeper analyses of the root causes and support Group controllers with recommendations on how to update current setup and processes.
• Participate in/ or lead development projects. Two of our main projects now are - SAP BPS installation and Implementation of a new common consolidation system for the TRATON Group, in beginning of 2026.
The position will give a great opportunity to understand accounting/reporting applications and the business structure within the Scania group. The position will expose you to a wide range of people from different parts of the organisation, both within Scania, TRATON and VW that will give possibilities to create a good network. Location for this position is at Scania’s head office in Södertälje.
Your profile
We are looking for a person that can:
• Translate strategic business needs into practical consolidations and reporting solutions.
• Define systems requirements; design, prototype, implement and launch solutions.
• Have proven experience as Project Manager
• That have a degree in finance or business with 5-10 years’ experience.
• At least 3 years of consolidation system maintenance experience (preferably SAP or HFM).
• Strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes

You are used to work towards goals and drive change projects which means that you have a high delivery capacity. A service-minded and solution-oriented attitude is something we place great value in. Therefore, you need to have both social and communicative skills since the position will expose you to internal and external contacts.
