Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.Scania has taken the strategic decision to set up a 3rd industrial hub in China - a project to develop and implement full-scale assembly operations has been initiated within Scania Production & Logistics. One part of this project is the establishment of a Chassis Assembly plant. We are now looking for a Business Analyst for the Chassis Assembly to join the project team to put industrial processes and organization in place! In the project, you will be a part of an exciting journey to create a full-scale production plant in China. Starting from zero, the project team is responsible to design, build and launch production in a completely new factory.
Job description
You will be working inside the automation team for Final Assembly, building up the interface with the IT team to develop our SCADA and MES systems for China. Your responsibility will be to guarantee that the requirements of the business are well explained and understood by the IT team. This will include guaranteeing the right priority and following up on their deliveries on a recurrent basis.
During your workday you will be reviewing all the requirements created and going through them with the IT team, after that will be your responsibility to align with the IT project leader how and when those tasks will be done and if this is according to business needs. Different meetings are to be held during the day, including with other systems interfaces, such as new ERP and machine suppliers.
This is a time-limited position of nine months.
Your profile
You are:
Familiar with gathering requirements from business for IT systems development and with agile methods and tools.
Comfortable using Windows and Office, adept at using a computer as a work tool, and possessing excellent spoken and written English skills.
Able to lead cross-functional discussions and handle the demands of the project.
Nice to have previous experience with SAP and other MRP and ERP systems.

Your location
Work during the first nine months in Södertälje. Later there will be a possibility to move to China next year.
