About you

We are looking for a positive team player who is passionate about creating value in an omnichannel environment. We believe you have relevant experience from development of retail solution in the area of services and familiar with the business processes within this function and how they can be enabled by technology.

Ideally you have working experience with software development with good knowledge of business analysis methods and tools including requirement management. Experience from relevant standard software, especially Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and customer facing applications would be an advantage. You also have an awareness of internal and external business and technology trends that will impact the business environment.

You get motivated by being able to deep dive into complex scenarios and problems and finding solutions together with your colleagues. You also have good communication and networking skills with the ability to co-operate and anchor with various stakeholders. And, you are passionate about enabling a better everyday life through technology and digital innovation.

Retail Operation Solutions & Support is an integral part of Core Business Franchise and consists of a team of people with passion for retail and competence in business and technology. We provide IKEA retailers with a set of digital products and services that are integrated to IKEA value chain and supporting the omnichannel IKEA Concept. We call this the Retail Package and it covers key capabilities for retail operations.

 About the role

As Business Analyst you will describe and translate business needs into technical requirements as well as identify opportunities to improve the IKEA omni-channel customer experience and retail business in the service area, where services are essential part for convenient shopping. At IKEA our service concept includes a wide array of services that are offered to IKEA customers and they include delivery services, for example last mile delivery.

You are also responsible to validate compliance of business requirements in quality assurance and contributes to the business acceptance. You will engage with stakeholders and support the identification of improvement needs. And, assist with definition and validation of high level & low level designs in cooperation with relevant roles.

You will work within agile development process of the Retail Package. You will develop, document and keep track of business requirements. And, support in development of learning and communication content. You will also be responsible for measuring the actual business outcome of our development efforts.

 

A few more details for you

This is a full time role (40 hours per week) located in Malmö, Sweden. You will report to the Sales & Range Processes Manager.
