What You'll Do
As the Business Analyst for Downstream Hardware you will be responsible for providing insight and advice through analysis and presentation of data. Your job will be to understand franchise performance on multiple levels and drive actions for improved results. The candidate we are looking for has a comprehensive understanding of the business and market, sharp analytical ability and a proven track record of achieving results with cross-functional teams.
The downstream hardware team spans across lab and industrial scale equipment. The team consists of three product management teams based in Uppsala and a larger organization handling customizations of large scale instruments spread across Uppsala, Umeå and Shanghai.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with cross functional stakeholders to identify business needs and propose actions across the franchise.
Develop models and business intelligence tools to support decision making.
Collect, monitor and analyse market data. Leverage market insight to forecast volume / revenue and inform product lifecycle management.
Provide analytical support on critical projects, before, during and after execution. You are a model expert with a clear understanding of underlying assumptions.
Drive organisational alignment through cross-functional partnerships.
Coordinate volume forecasting and revenue recognition, inventory estimates and cost follow ups for our customized business.
Support Product Management to identify business problems and remedies.
Who you are
Deep understanding of the business and market.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate numbers in a clear way.
Expert knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Qliksense.
Experience in working in a matrix organization and proven track record of achieving results with cross functional teams.
Team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
