About the job Swedbank is increasing its analytical capabilities and diversifying its data landscape, looking at new ways of capitalizing on data, with the ultimate goal of better knowing and hence better serving our customers. In doing this, new platforms and technologies for discovery, advanced analytics and big data will be explored and introduced. This will be done in close cooperation with the business and IT.

As a Business Analyst in the ODL data engineering team, you will work within the Data Discovery & BI Architecture Value Stream in CFO's Group Business Intelligence department.

You will have an important role in a Cross Functional Team (CFT) working with use case (UC) deliveries. You will work both independently and in close cooperation with your team, consisting of data scientists and data engineers. You will be expected to learn diffrent financial products, collect and analyze the business requirements with agile methadology, assist project to source required information from different systems, keep track of requirements being processed during SDLC with quality, help project to map data points to business glossary and identify/design services around them.

What you need to succeed As a Business Analyst in data engineering, we expect you to have experience in business analysis, performing business acceptance testing, business maintanance, analyse functionalities, and process analyses. Programming is expected only in SQL. You might have been working as a requirement specialist, business developer, system analyst or a product owner and have a solid combination of the following requirements:

Big Data (general knowledge)
RDBMS (general knowledge)
SQL
Business-oriented, with a strong customer focus
Innovative and creative; you enjoy working in the rapidly changing digital environment


An extra meriting would be knowledge of busines glossary and service based BI solution concept.

As a person, we expect you to have readiness and interest in learning and keeping yourself up to date with new technologies and platforms. You are a team-player with a positive and supporting mind-set and ready to excel within your area of expertise. We expect you to have good communication skills, both verbally and in written, also excellent in English.
