We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.

What we offer
We have an exciting cross-over opportunity between Human Resources (People Experience) and Digital, where we are looking for a Business Analyst to bridge between our users and the HR Digital Solutions.
You will be part of a product team called Workforce & Organisation, which handles the masterdata related to all employees of Volvo Cars. We operate in a global community creating innovative, future focused solutions and the Business Analyst is the indispensable link between stakeholders across the organization and the product team.
Our mission is to provide really good user journeys for anyone consuming the masterdata. A great thing about our team is that we span the Volvo Cars global HR system landscape in full, and therefore learn how the data is connected in all applications. We get to be creative while being challenged to resolve complex tasks.
What you will learn and further develop
In this role you will be part of a truly cross-functional agile team where HR (PX) and Digital competencies meet and shape each other. Depending on your interests and ambition this is an opportunity to broaden and deepen your knowledge in areas such as People Analytics, Recruitment, Compensation and Learning as well as growing your competence in the applications supporting these areas globally.

What you’ll do
Key tasks include analyzing real-life user challenges and depicting them as actionable concepts. It may for example cover processes like the hiring of employees and contingent workers or variations of internal people transfers and terminations.
This is typically done by facilitating collaboration between stakeholders and team members to create joint understanding and ownership. In doing so the Business Analyst applies a wide range of problem solving and visualization techniques.
You keep an ear to the ground to pick up on current business needs whilst relating to how data flows through our system landscape and maps to the business processes.
The Business Analyst is a key contributor in, and helps prepare, various agile ceremonies such as the backlog refinement, sprint- and PI-plannings.

This is your profile
We believe that you have a university degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources, IT or Business. The ability to break down challenges and make them clearly understandable to both business stakeholders and digital teams is what is going to make you successful in this role.
Furthermore, we see that you have:
•    Skills and experience in information models and end-to-end process mapping including user journeys/UX.
•    Worked in projects and/or a product context with implementation and enhancements of digital solutions where you have translated business needs to process and configuration solutions.
•    Great facilitation skills.

And the following is of merit:
•    Human Resources domain knowledge
•    Experience and certificates from e.g., BABOK, Six Sigma, collaborative agile practices such as impact and story mapping and you can apply the tools in your day to day work.
•    The ability to apply business analysis in an agile context and write epics, features, and stories in an effective format

On a personal level
You have an analytical mind-set and ability to conceptualize and visualize gathered information in a structured and educational way using established techniques.
You are a true collaborator with a growth mind-set, and you enjoy bringing people from different areas of expertise together to solve real problems. You see the importance of building relations and creating trust with everyone you meet, which helps you drive transparency, alignment, and effective ways of working. And you’re also out to have a great deal of fun at work!
