Business Analyst, IKEA Components

About you
We believe in order to be successful in this role, you need to have minimum of 3 years of previous experience working with Business Controlling, Business or Financial Analysis.

We believe that you have an academic degree within the area of Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a similar area.

We believe that you have strong analytical skills, have a good understanding of quantitative calculation methods and how to practically perform analysis.
We hope you have knowledge in a BI tool like Cognos, Qlikview and/or TM1.

We believe that you have a strong ability to develop, implement and follow up.

You are good at asking the right questions, and dare to challenge others.
You are good in communicating in written and you bring understanding to complex matters. You have the ability to see the big picture and able to identify the details crucial for the big picture.

As a person you are curious and has a strong drive. You get energy from working both together with other people and from working independently.
About the job
The Business Navigator has a vital role to play in analysing and supporting the Components Business strategic, tactical and operational work in our key processes.

About the assignment
The Business Analyst reports to the Global Market Manager and is part of the Business Steering Matrix within IKEA Components.

Your assignment is to:

-Regular follow up in order to monitor our out price development.
-Regular Sales volume vs. budget/forecast deviation follow up.
-Participate in Finance & Business steering deviation, as well as development matrix, meetings.
-Contribute to Finance & Business steering monthly closing reports
-Contribute to Finance & Business steering management report 3 times per year
-A very tight co-operation with Market Business Navigator
-Be an active support to IKEA Components Global Market Manager.
-In close co-operation with the Process Developer be an ambassador for standard business solutions and common tools.
-Support in leading the forecast and budget process, overall cost allocations, financial results and price settings. Working closely with different parts of the organisation.
-Find the right sets of data, compile it in a flexible and user friendly way and to perform analysis.
-Responsible for the performance and financial updates is sent out to the Market Management organization.
