Business Analyst in Post Trade Solutions

System Management is a department within our European Market Operations. European Market Operations operate both trading and clearing related functionalities and products, traded on the Nordic Derivatives Market, Commodities Markets and Fixed Income Markets.

The team is currently looking to expand and add a new colleague to join us on our post trade voyage to help us successfully adopt to the new and upcoming changes within the post trade world. You will be part of the team that has the system ownership of our Nasdaq Clearing post trade solution, as well as the system ownership of Nasdaqs integrated trading and clearing platform, Genium Inet.
Your role and responsibilities
Nasdaq is using a third party vendor to deliver the post trade technical platform, and your role will be to participate in projects related to the upcoming regulatory changes (such as CSDR or T2S), working together with business analysts from our tech provider and System Management team to drive our project activities forward. In addition to this, you will also give production support to operational teams, Business Units and internal and external stakeholders. You will be:
Producing, compiling or reviewing business requirements from an operational point of view
Acting as a second line support to the operational teams meaning that youll analyze the impact of these questions or issues, as well as prioritizing and planning the corrections of these issues (when needed), or escalate these issues
Configuring changes
Prioritizing and planning corrections within a release project or production environment
Coordinating with different stakeholders (internal and external) on issues that are addressed to you
Participate in projects by driving UAT meetings, and supporting implementations until production launch
Supporting the UAT teams with your view of areas or functions that needs to be verified
Defining roles and responsibilities of new functions during release projects
We expect you to have
Experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Operational Analyst within post trade (both cash, stock and fixed income) flows
Good experience of change management implementation
Good Office package knowledge and the ability to present statistics, status or similar to the management team
Excellent communication skills in English
It would be great if you:
Have experience with regulatory changes and how this affects post trade flows
Have good knowledge on our Nordic financial products (derivatives, commodities, fixed income) especially with focus on clearing
