Business Analyst - Intelligent Automation for People Experience (HR)

Arbetsbeskrivning

Who are we?
Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future.

What we offer

We have an exciting cross-over opportunity within People Experience (HR), where we are looking for a Business Analyst to bridge between our users and Digital Solutions.  You will be part of a team called PX Intelligent Automation, which aims to automate processes across PX in Volvo Cars. We operate in a global community creating innovative, future-focused solutions and the Business Analyst is the indispensable link between stakeholders across the organization and the team.

What you will learn and further develop

In this role, you will be part of a truly multicultural and agile team where HR (PX) and digital competencies meet and shape each other. Depending on your interests and ambition, this is an opportunity to broaden and deepen your knowledge in areas such as People Analytics, Recruitment, Compensation and Performance as well as grow your competence in the applications supporting these areas globally.

What you’ll do

Key tasks include analyzing real-life user challenges and translating them into potential automation processes for our developers working mainly with Blue Prism and Microsoft Power Platform. It may for example cover processes like the hiring of employees and contingent workers or variations of internal people transfers and terminations. This is typically done by facilitating collaboration between stakeholders and team members to create joint understanding and ownership. In doing so, the Business Analyst applies a wide range of problem-solving and visualization techniques. You keep an ear to the ground to pick up on current business needs whilst relating to how data flows through our systems. The Business Analyst is a key contributor in and helps prepare, various agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint- and PI-plannings.

The scope of this role is global, and some travel is to be expected. The location of this role is flexible, as long as it is in connection to any of our major offices (Gothenburg, Stockholm, Lund, or Madrid preferred).

This is your profile

We believe that you have a university degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources or IT or Business. The ability to break down challenges and make them clearly understandable to both business stakeholders and digital teams is what is going to make you successful in this role. We see you with strong communication skills with the ability to adjust the same message to different stakeholders with a business mindset. We also believe in your ability to work independently with a hands-on personality.

Furthermore, we see that you have:
•    Skills and experience in information models and end-to-end process mapping including user journeys/UX.
•    Worked in projects and/or a product context with implementation and enhancements of digital solutions where you have translated business needs to process and configuration solutions.
•    Capacity to understand how Automation/RPA works
•    Great facilitation skills as we administer SAFe Agile
•    Documentation skills, writing and maintaining process definition documents

If you also have HR domain knowledge, a general interest in other automation tools such as Power Platforms, and the ability to apply business analysis in an agile context in an effective format (writing epics, features, stories), we believe it would be highly beneficial.

On a personal level

You have an analytical mindset and the ability to conceptualize and visualize gathered information in a structured and educational way using established techniques. You are a true collaborator with a growth mindset, and you enjoy bringing people from different areas of expertise together to solve real problems. At the same time, we think you have the ability to work independently with a “doer” mindset.

You see the importance of building relations and creating trust with everyone you meet, which helps you drive transparency, alignment, and effective ways of working. And you’re also out to have a great deal of fun at work!
