About the job
You serve as a liaison between IT and Business and find ways to increase business value by introducing efficient solutions to enable the organization to perform qualitative analysis, as well as to support the process of making informed and fact-based decisions, acting as a true partner to the organization. You’re the bridge between the technology, reporting and analytics team and the organization by supporting and coordinating all requirements within the area, regardless of organizational function or system platform. You take an active role in continuous improvements of our processes and ways of working to increase the support to the organization and the business value of our insight.
You set the roadmap and develop the strategy for the area to make sure we’re offering reliable and accessible information and data driven insight in the most optimal and timely manner. You find ways to maximize the use of analytics and optimize the return of data assets. This position offers great development opportunities where you set the agenda and suggests the direction. Your work and contribution will have an immediate impact on the journey of becoming a data-driven organization.
Your responsibility also includes:
· Coordinating, leading, and developing a global team of reporting specialists.
· Coordinating and supporting deep-dive investigations and analysis.
· Proactively identifying opportunities and challenges within the organization.
· Monitoring and benchmarking of report package usage and report lifecycle management.
· Looking out for new opportunities, data industry trends and technological advancements.
The location of this job is flexible between any of our global offices or sites, and international travel is under normal circumstances included and a natural part of your job.
About you
We’re looking for an experienced leader with the ability to inspire and engage in a global setting. You have a degree in a relevant field of studies, such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, IT or Economics. Extensive experience from data analysis, reporting and BI is required, as well as developing analytics in a global setting. You have a good understanding of business intelligence tools such as Power BI and have a good general knowledge of relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server. It’s beneficial if you also have knowledge in services like DataBricks and awareness of the importance of UX. Fluency in English, both spoken and in writing, are required.
You hold strong communication skills and are comfortable in presenting and interacting with different types of audiences and stakeholders. With a natural ability for building strong relationships, you value a collaborative and inclusive working environment, and with an open and honest leadership style – encourage and enables your team to develop and grow.
