Business Analyst- Nasdaq Realtime Risk & Pricing (NRTR)
Nasdaq is looking for a Business Analyst with a background in finance and IT to join the Nasdaq Realtime Risk & Pricing (NRTR) Team. NRTR is a comprehensive risk engine, which provides real-time exchange margin, market risk, counterparty risk and P&L services in the face of increasing regulatory scrutiny and capital compression. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet customer needs; our technology must be real-time, robust and able to keep up with even the most demanding market conditions.
As a Business Analyst, you will act as the interface between our clients and the IT organization by translating business processes and needs into detailed functional requirements. Additionally, you will ensure that the team of developers and testers has a clear understanding of the clients requirements. The role will be based in Stockholm, but might on occasion involve international travel to our other offices and clients.

The opportunity to work within a highly skilled and experienced product engineering team. You will belong to cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Test Engineers. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with product management to understand the products business needs to define, negotiate, document, validate, and manage the detailed product requirements. Equally important is to facilitate a common view and a shared understanding of the requirements amongst all parties involved in the development effort.
Your responsibilities:
Perform the requirement process with a Lean/Agile mindset
Perform peer reviews, demos and regression testing
Participate in Lean/Agile activities
Engage with stakeholders, business experts, product architects and your team to build an unsurpassed product which will deliver value to customers
We are looking for someone with:
Some experience as a Business Analyst or similar role working with requirements
Interest in technology and how financial markets operate
Experience from a software product company using agile methodology
Curiosity and a highly collaborative work style along with a desire to share knowledge
The ability to engage and collaborate closely with colleagues, stakeholders and clients
A degree with specialization in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
It would be great if you have:
Experience from working in the FinTech industry, specifically within clearing
Experience using Confluence and/or Jira
Developer experience and knowledge of Java
