What's in it for you?
In Local Capabilities, we are responsible for the development and maintenance of IT systems and solutions in the People Experience area and the Facility Management area. We now seek a Business Analyst/Tech Lead, who will be part of a cross-functional agile team working on Local Facility Management systems. The Local Facility Management product team is a fairly new team that is responsible for a group of systems and processes that are needed to handle Local Facility Management in Sweden, Belgium, APAC & Americas. Our mission is to contribute to defining the future digitalization roadmap for Facility Management and to ensure we remain at the technical forefront and utilize the right systems fit for purpose.
What you’ll do:
As a Business Analyst/Tech Lead in the Local Facility Management product team, you are a strategic problem solver essential to the success of the product team. You are able to make strategic decisions and, based on your input, think along about planning and choices of priorities. You work closely with our business stakeholders (mainly the Local Facility Management organizations in all our Volvo plants) to functionally identify IT solutions in the business.
You will facilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify the business requirements and to identify possible improvements in the current IT systems (for example cyber security improvements in the network and server setup) that we have in our product.
Who you are:
We’re looking for you who have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field and are interested to grow in a role as a Business Analyst / Tech Lead. You have an affinity with Facility Management and have worked with the scaled agile framework (SAFe) before. We see that you have excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand complex problems and turn them into practical solutions. Furthermore, you can proactively identify and fix problems in the process or the IT-systems together with the team and you are interested to understand the complete end to end flow of a digital process. We see you enjoy working in a global role and are able to travel if needed. Last but not least, you are fluent in written and spoken English.
As a person, you are an enthusiastic and motivated person that is willing to learn and grow in your role. You are a true collaborator, with facilitation and delegation skills to ensure involvement and engage both stakeholders and team members to create ownership and gain results. With effective communication and proficient ability in solving conflicts, you develop trust among stakeholders. By showing integrity and empathy, you’re being considerate of all parties’ interests and objectives. And of course, you are self-motivated and have a strong action-oriented mindset.
The position is located in Gothenburg.
