The Global Merchandising team, part of the Central Online Sales function, is now looking for a driven Business Analyst with strong knowledge with web analytics to take on this exciting challenge. H&M Online Sales is responsible for H&M’s e-commerce globally, where we digitally offer the world fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way. We offer e-commerce in all digital channels, and we currently have e-commerce sites in 50 markets. To reach our goals, we need to fully leverage the data we have and turn it into insights and actions. Therefore, we are now looking for a Business Analyst within Google Analytics.
Job Description
The role as Business Analyst Web Analytics within Online Sales comes with a lot of responsibility – and a lots of fun! You will have a central role in many aspects of the development and growth of our business. You will team up with colleagues from Online Sales, Business Units, Marketing and other internal stakeholders to understand web analysis. You will support teams in Google Analytics in order to perform analysis and evaluate actions towards delivering a customer centric experience growing and engaging our customer base.
In this position you will develop methods and people in web analysis and give input to Business Tech in customer centric analysis related questions securing future customer base growth. The role also drives and follow-up our work in regard to onsite segmentation.
Your responsibilities
Your main responsibilities are to:
Be an expert in exploratory analytics using datawarehouse like google big query or similar
Be an expert and go-to person in all Google Analytics related questions.
Turn ad-hoc business questions into actionable insights by doing data driven customer behaviour analysis
Drive method development for web analysis at OL Sales
Drive web analytics trainings at OL Sales
Google Analytics ad-hoc support to teams and functions (incidents, tracking, accesses, analysis, method)
Drive web analysis development together with other functions from other parts of the company that are also driving web analysis (e.g. Business Tech, Marketing) Support with incident analysis
Drive onsite segmentation follow-up
Create dashboards and reports to make webdata available using BI tools such as google data studio and Power BI.
Qualifications
In order for you to be successful in the Business Analyst role we believe that you have:
At least one year’s of experience within a role where selling and commercial analysis is important
Experience and good knowledge in Google Analytics
Strong SQL and Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools
Skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
Experience in creating reports in Power BI, Google data studio (or similar data visualization tools)
Experience from E-commerce is meritorious
Strong problem-solving skills always focusing on improving and challenging status quo
Business mindset and passionate about making a difference
