About the job:
You will join the onsite team in Umeå as Business Analyst and be an essential part of our constant strive for Customer Success! Your main focus area will be quality and continuous improvement from a LEAN perspective together with customer and end user demands. And you will be part of the QRIT team as QRIT Chairman. This requires great business knowledge and a holistic view of systems/infrastructure for the local Volvo plant. The daily work, which is supported by tools such as EWO and Kaizen, aims at continuous improvements and requires cross-functional collaboration between maintenance, HCL and Group IT.
The Business Analyst is a crucial role for our local delivery and requires good understanding of the business goals, stakeholder needs and our local plant – both operational and system wise.
Some of the activities you will be working with are:
Chairman for QRIT – Quick Response IT (the LEAN methodology implemented for IT activities) – work closely with our local Volvo plant preventing incidents from happening. Drive and prepare daily QRIT meetings to follow up incidents and problems
Work closely with VPS team at GTO
Participate in morning meetings in the production areas if needed
Be the driver in our continuous improvement work
Be the driver in Focus Area IT – where we strive for business success
Drive local QRIT daily, Weekly and Monthly meetings as a process owner
Continuously strive to improve existing ways of working
Facilitate workshops and work with continuous improvements
Understand complex issues and identify opportunities and risks
Support quality assurance activities of end user support, for example root cause analysis, end-to-end support quality
Be part of an end user study session with coaching to understand end user needs and As-Is business processes.
Be part of an end user evaluation with coaching to secure that important end user needs are met with the prototype or working solution.
Participate in building good customer relationship with our stakeholders
Responsible for securing that the requirements can be understood by both Business and IT
Secure the customer and/or end user’s business objectives, needed to prepare solution requirements
Handle customer contact regarding all infrastructure and service tasks that concern requirements
Be primary contact with BIM organization (Business infrastructure management)
About you:
We expect you to have a degree from university studies and a couple of years of experience working with production or similar. We require that you have good understanding of LEAN and previous experience from working with quality. You have knowledge of support tools such as Remedy and/or Service Now, as well as other ITIL foundation to deliver good results. In addition, you are a great team player and always look to further develop yourself and others.
Qualifications / requirements for the job:
Relevant university degree
2-3 years of experience from working with quality and and/or similar
Previous experience from IT within manufacturing industry
Experience from LEAN and working with continuous improvements
Experience from ITIL processes as Incident management, Change management, etc.
Good knowledge in Volvo Production System (VPS)
A curious and quality driven mindset, that always seeks to disclose the real root cause of any issue
Good communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
Driving license
