Are you passionate about risk management and ready to bring our counterparty risk calculations and framework to the next level?
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Join the exciting journey of our Financial Risk Value Stream that is responsible for strategic development and maintenance of Swedbank´s Financial Risk solutions
- Build strong technical competence and take a key part of improving, refining, and maintaining our tools and systems, to continuously comply with internal needs and regulatory requirements
- Be involved in vendor communication, planning, development, configuration, documentation and verification processes
- Develop and improve our data governance and data quality management in alignment with our group strategy
- Work with the several risk databases, practice your data modelling and SQL (MSSQL) skills
- Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, quants, architects and product owners for successful system improvements, automatisation, risk modelling as well as system & functional enhancements
What is needed in this role:
- Self-driven, pro-active, and curious personality
- Analytical, structured, with excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Financial Risk as well as modelling of financial instruments is an advantage
- Interest or understanding of relevant regulations for financial risk (typically Basel) is beneficial
- Technical experience in working with databases and SQL is an advantage
- Experience of programming in Python (or equivalent) is mandatory
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix system is beneficial
- Experience in Shell scripting is beneficial
- University degree in Financial Mathematics, Industrial engineering, Physics and Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience from Agile way of working is a plus
- Proficient in oral and written English with excellent communication skills
- Experience from applications in SS&C’s (previously IBM) AlgoOne/Algorithmics suite (including Riskwatch, IMCR, Riskflow modules) for risk calculations/reporting is an advantage
