Business Application Manager CATIA

The group CAD and Mechanical Development belongs to department Process, CAD and PDM development within the unit Technology and Implementation. We have the responsibility to lead global method development and maintain, train and support. We develop methods related to CAD, geometrical vehicle integration, product visualization, non-geometric data and CAD/CAE integration.
Are you a person with interest in CATIA and related methods? As Business Application
Manager (BAM) CATIA, you will have a leading responsibility for CATIA at Volvo Car Group. You will serve the CATIA users in the vehicle programs, aiming to continuously improve the CAD tools and methods, and will therefore work in close cooperation with CAD key users and design engineers. You will also lead improvement projects and cooperate with method and IT developers.
Main responsibilities
* Be the contact person to key users
* Identify areas of improvement and drive development needs including funding requests related to CATIA and the processes it supports
* Lead and/or participate in Kaizen method development
* Secure that method descriptions are up-to-date
* Secure that acceptance tests are performed to secure IT development performs according to Business requirements
* Maintenance and predicting need for licenses
* Contact with Dassault to keep updated with new functionality and content of bug-fixes
Required qualifications
* Technical education (BSc or equivalent)
* Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken
* Knowledge in mechanical automotive design
* Very good knowledge in CATIA V5 and TeamCenter
* Experience of working together with a IT department in method development, is an asset
