We are strengthening our team with a new Business Application Specialist whose focus will be to manage a portfolio of IT Solutions supporting the Finance area. We are on a digitalization journey, and you will be a key person in helping finance reach their goals around efficiency and effectiveness in the way we work. Today the Business Application team consists of 4 Business Application Specialists and one Software Architect that manages 40+ of HemoCues most important Business Applications. We are now looking for you who would like to make a difference.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Bring IT and business together – by focus on Finance related application including our ERP system
Enable the day-to-day business though managing the applications, the support structure around the application/s and cooperate with our IT Infrastructure partner
Drive continues improvement together with the Solution Owner/s – manage investigations
The portfolio you will manage contains products used within the finance area including all the finance related modules in our ERP system. Previous experience from working with one or several of the following applications: ERP, OneStream and Medius is an advantage. Even if we are a smaller team, and even if everyone has its own portfolio we always try to support and help each other. We work closely together both within the team but also together with the business – the close dialogue lead to a fast decision-making process which enable a faster delivery of business value.
The essential requirements of the job include:
To create the bridge between external suppliers and our Finance department
Manage the day-to-day support at the same time as we are driving continues improvement activities
Manage the improvement funnel together with selected stakeholders in the business
Lead the support organization (business and IT together)
Managing budget input and facilitate creation of business cases
Ensure that verification and validation has been performed and approved before the changes are implemented – support and facilitate the software validation process
Secure that needed system documentation are kept up to date and that we follow set requirements like IT SOX and ISA315 standards
Facilitate the requirements gathering, run pre-studies and implementation initiatives
Qualifications
You hold a relevant degree within IT/Finance/Economics or Business Administration
You have 5-7-year experience from working with IT application management preferably with solutions within the finance area like, ERP, OneStream and invoice handling among others
You should also have experience of managing a portfolio of applications – setting plans, budgets but also be hands on managing day to day issues
Your communication skills in English are on a high level. Swedish is an advantage
It is important that you take individual responsibility, are curious and have a positive attitude
As a person, you are a great teammate, proactive, structured and solution-oriented and who likes a fast pace. You find it easy to communicate with other people and enjoy working in an organization that is motivated by continuous improvement, both in terms of solutions and processes. You can work independently but also in a team, manage, and complete your assignments and present the result on the right level – depending on the audience. You need to be flexible and work with tasks on all levels from day-to-day operational tasks up to tactical/strategic roadmap decisions and budget proposals.
