Business Applications Manager

A part of establishing the global IT function of Swegon Group is to improve capabilities to implement and manage standard software internationally. We are now looking for a manager of all standard applications (with the exception of ERP).

About the position
We are seeking an ambitions and creative manager of business applications. As manager you will build a team to roll out and support standard applications for CRM, E-COM, BI, CMS, PIM, PDM and other central areas. The starting point is a small team of 3 members. Hiring, establishing processes, managing supplier and stakeholder relations will be essential. In addition to building the team there will be detailed engagement with both ongoing and new projects to drive implementations and structure application management.

Areas of responsibility:


• Collect and analyze business requirements in order to refine the roadmap for business applications
• Establish processes for project management and application management
• Run projects to implement and improve standard applications
• Manage project managers and application managers to optimize performance
• Coordinate standard applications with software development and ERP
• Hiring staff and consultants
• Negotiate supplier contracts for applications as well as for consulting
• Budgeting and prioritization

Your profile
You are an experienced IT professional with an overall understanding of the application needs of a multinational business. You are communicative and you are experienced in project management and application management. You are a doer who can drive and administer multiple global change projects in parallel. Previous personnel responsibilities are meritorious.

Requirements:


• Experience as a project manager and/or line manager
• Solid understanding of the IT application landscape of a multinational company. You should be able to talk fluently about key applications and how they integrate to support the business
• Ability to execute changes and implementation projects
• Understanding of, and experience from, IT application management
• Decent understanding of software development
• Good level of English
• Your personality is important. We are looking for someone who is communicative and driven by genuine teamwork

Extra plus if you also have experience from:


• ERP systems
• Microsoft Dynamics, PowerBI, SQL Server
• E-commerce, PIM, PDM, CPQ, CMS, BI and reporting
• Ordering and manufacturing of configured products
• CAD and BIM
• IT security
