We're looking for our future Business Architect to join a supportive, collaborative, and especially, fun team!
As a Business Architect at Scania R&D, you get the opportunity to work in a multicultural work environment – alongside product owners, R&D user groups, managers, and business analysts in structuring the organization in terms of its governance, strategy, business processes, and information. In practice, you are the one with the big picture that knits together business requirements and mission with the technology available to help accomplish the set goals in Scania's journey towards a sustainable transport system.

A typical day for you as a Business Architect
Firstly, as a business architect, you will be required to make assessments for areas of improvement and make the changes necessary to carry out strategy or reshape the business together with both colleagues and managers. One of the many exciting and interesting aspects of being a Business Architect is that every single day is different – and you wear many hats – from managing and attending meetings, and workshops, map making, building the business architecture, proposing solutions to working out the best way to define a particular need, infrastructure, training, governance, and tools. You are an essential part and link between both business and IT!
How are you expected to contribute?
• Lead and guide the organization in how to set new business architecture, processes, and improvements in the transformation together with the other brands within the TRATON Group.
• Supply leadership and communicate with different teams and stakeholders on all levels.
• Create business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals.
• Produce and implement new business visions and goals.
• Motivate and take decisions regarding priorities and ways of working.
• Produce all necessary documentation for stakeholders and steering committees.
Is this you?
A talented individual with exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills, who can deliver innovative solutions to complex problems. You can work effectively at all levels of an organization and can influence others to move toward consensus. You are good at having a broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance. Your strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, along with your communication skills, will enable you to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders for successful project results.
We would also like you to have..
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, IT, Business, or equal.
• At least 3 years experience working as a Business–, Solutions–, and Software Architect but also project manager or another role where you have taken the lead.
• Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
• Write and speak fluently in English. If you write and speak fluently in Swedish, it is a merit.
Since we work with SAFe Agile or similar Agile methodologies used to implement multiple development team implementations, it would be great if you are familiar with these approaches.
