Who we are

VEIO – Business Architecture Logistics as a team has the global responsibility to guide the direction of Scania’s future IT architecture to optimize our process and operations. We are the voice of our Logistics Business Areas when Scania makes IT roadmaps and capabilities planning towards the systems. About the role

As Business Architect for Order&Invoice process, you own the capabilities roadmap. Together with the Business Developers, Solution Architects, Scania IT development teams, and implementation projects, you will build future roadmaps, and secure budgets so that we have an effective, productive, and sustainable system landscape.

You will work in close collaboration with a System Architect, who supports you with technical competence in IT and Business Development and who will input the demands and future business needs to secure we have proper solutions to our challenging future. You share the responsibility with the team managers to coach and develop this process.

The Order&Invoice area is of special importance in the coming years, in the transition from our legacy systems to SAP and other tools we are currently implementing. We need to make sure we set the correct architecture to secure we will manage to improve our deliveries to our final customers as we also have an increased TRATON cooperation.

Responsibilities


• Create an IT roadmap for the process area
• With support from the team, prioritize the most important demands for IT developments to support the business and achieve a long-term strategy
• Together with Business and Scania IT, initiate development activities solving the most important demands
• Visualize the demand backlog and develop the future target architecture
• Continuously work together with Scania IT to secure fast deliveries to the business with the right development scope
• Represent VEIO in Scania architecture-related development projects and forums 
• Drive architectural questions cross-functionally to a final decision and support projects to implement them

Who you are

To be successful in this position, you need to be a dedicated team player, service-minded and have a clear drive. We are looking for someone who is strong in communication, and who can create a structure for everyone around and make clear analyses and conclusions. You can both draw your own conclusions and lead teams to draw collective conclusions. On a personal level, you strive to build wide contact networks with long-term relationships through good collaboration, communication, structure, and trust. A great passion for business and IT transformation!

You most likely have a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Management, or equivalent. You are probably well into your Scania career and are looking for your next big challenge. Deep knowledge in Scania’s Order&Invoice processes and systems will be considered a plus.
