Business Area Controller to AB Lindex

We are now looking for a Business Area Controller to our head office located in central Gothenburg.   Your role in our team.
You are part of one of our three Business areas; Women’s wear, Lingerie or Kids’ wear at our Design & Purchasing Department. As a Business Area Controller, you are responsible for having control of the big picture of your business area. Your main mission is to maximize the sales and profitability together with your team, Design & Buying Manager, Assortment Managers and Buyers.

We understand that you are curious to know more about the role! Here are some examples of work tasks: From an economic perspective you analyze, push and follow up; sales, purchasing volumes, stock and range of assortment to optimize sales and profitability. You proactively communicate actions, risks and possibilities, to the Purchase Controlling Manager and the team you are working with. You are responsible for personnel and your team consists of three to five members.

You are analytical, communicative and proactive. You enjoy working in a fast-paced and changeable environment. You have the ability to work independently, take initiatives and managing your time. We also see that you are comfortable in a coordinating position and since you will be working in close collaboration with other departments, we think that it is important that you are a team player. As a leader you develop a dynamic, creative and responsible team. You are curious about digital tools and how they can support you and help you to improve your work, you believe in togetherness and are motivated by the possibility to make an impact. Also, this probably sounds like you:

• University Diploma in economics
• Work experience from a position within purchase controlling (preferably working with retail), where you have developed business analytics skills
• Excellent knowledge in Excel
• Excellent knowledge in BI-/ERP Systems
• Swedish and English, both spoken and written
