About us
We are Quality Development, organized in Quality within the business area IO&Q. Our responsibility is to operate Volvo Cars’ management system to improve performance, quality and customer satisfaction by optimizing the company’s way of working. We are a skilled team of specialists who work globally and throughout the company, which give us a unique overall picture and knowledge of Volvo Cars.
Quality Development is on an exciting transformation journey that aims to prepare us for all the challenges that lie ahead. One of them is how to do company analyses/assessments going forward.
We are now looking for a Business Assessor who will play a significant part in shaping the role for the future. The role that gives you a unique opportunity to be an important contributor to optimizing how Volvo Cars works to achieve efficient operation and customer satisfaction.
What you will do
Your main task will be to prepare and conduct company analyses/assessments on a global level in order to improve performance, quality, drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and ensure compliance with the standards. You will gather and analyze information (from different sources), formulate hypotheses, study business processes/interfaces and communicate findings and recommendations. You will also play an important role in hosting external assessments by third part.
You will collaborate with the different business units in implementing relevant actions to close gaps and strengthen our business, preparing us for the future ahead. In addition, creating and presenting in-depth reports that show significant results and measures taken from performed assessments.
You promote collaboration by actively participating in the Global Assessment Core Team and contribute to various ongoing improvement initiatives within the department. You will drive change and set the tone for the future of this role.
What you need to bring with you
* In-depth strategic and operational business understanding
* Skills in how to drive continuous improvement with proven end results
* Accustomed to handle complexity and large amounts of information with an analytical approach
* Experience in operate in an ever-changing organization and support with flexible solutions
* Good insight in how an itegrated management system contributes to quality and customer satisfaction
* Relevant university degree at master’s level and approximately 5 years of work experience
* Are fluent in English, both written and oral, is a must.

Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 and how standards transform into business relevance
