About this opportunity:
Working closely with the core business lines at Nasdaq, the Internal Audit team evaluates internal controls to ensure that the organization has appropriate controls in place to mitigate risks that could negatively affect our business. The Internal Audit team focuses on two areas: Business Auditing and Technology Auditing. As a Business Auditor, you will be working with projects related to Nasdaq’s business operations, finances and regulatory obligations in our team in Stockholm. What you will do:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, planning and executing internal audit programs to evaluate business operations, related business applications and processes to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards as well as regulatory requirements.
Other responsibilities in your day-to-day work will also require you to:
Assess and report on the quality and efficiency of controls across all risk creating areas including, but not limited to operations, finance, regulatory, technology, M&A, and clearing
Lead and execute on multiple concurrent projects, managing conflicting priorities to achieve results on time
Write audit reports with business recommendations and support business in developing action plans
What we expect:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related field
Several years of relevant working experience with an analytical mindset and a high level of integrity
Have an interest in, and be familiar with, financial markets
Strong team player, approachable, collaborative
Excellent communicational skills in English, both written and spoken
Professional auditing certifications and experience with financial markets is a plus
