Business Coach

Science Park Skövde is looking for a business coach who can coach entrepreneurs within tech software solutions and smart industry. Through a continously improved process and a coaching mind, you help entrepreneurs to verify their business ideas in an early stage with the main goal to build sustainable and growing businesses.

The role
In the role as a business coach, you will daily meet entrepreneurs who want to enter the market as successfully and quickly as possible. With a coaching approach, you help them stay focused and work with what is important. For example, it may be a question of how to:
· verify the commercial viability of the business idea at an early stage
· find sustainable business models
· prepare the company for investment
Our process of supporting startups includes both group lectures as well as individual counseling and coaching. Together with your colleagues, you will keep the process up to date on content and models to be able to accelerate the entrepreneurs' knowledge and skills in an educational way.
Who are you?
We believe that you have:
· a university degree in IT and/or tech software solutions, smart industry/industry 4.0 or earned skills through previous positions and experiences in the field
· a pedagogic experience and a coaching approach
· experience and understanding of the manufacturing industry, solutions for optimization, efficiency and/or digitization
· great knowledge and skills in a data driven industry and insights in the latest trends
· great understanding in business development and how to build sustainable business models
Your way of working is result-oriented, structured, and including. It is a great advantage if you have experience within the innovation support system. If you have previously run a startup, it is a merit but not a requirement.
As a person you are driven and empathetic. It is natural for you to connect with new people in different contexts and you like to be involved when new innovations are born. Creating and facilitating captivating presentations and workshops, regardless of the meeting forms, comes natural for you. We work together in teams which is why we attach great importance to your collaborative skills.
Work type
Permanent employment, full-time.
