Business Concept Developer, E-mobility Services

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation towards becoming a driven leader in sustainable transports, where electrification and digitalisation will be key.

We are now strengthening our team with Business Concept Developers. Do you want to be part of leading the transformation and work with developing ideas to new service concepts? Do you want a role in which one day is not the other alike? Do you also want to join a passionate team? Then this opportunity might be for you!

The role

Your main task as Business Concept Developer is to develop new business concepts to ensure Scania is in the forefront when it comes to e-mobility services. The focus will be to develop premium services for electrified vehicles that will maximise the utilisation of the vehicle and support the customers with data-driven insights so they can focus on their core business.

Your task is to find viable business opportunities, adding customer value and improving Scania’s position and profitability in close collaboration with our Product Managers, Service Designers and other functions cross-functionally.

You will keep up to date on trends within the industry and work closely with our global service network to make sure the services we develop and offer are relevant and attractive to our customers.

What are we offering?

This is a varied and diverse role; from strategic to hands-on tasks. It means working at the forefront of sustainable transport with new business opportunities. This is an opportunity to jump on a learning journey through electrification and new ways of working, challenging and growing your skills daily.

You will be a part of a talented and growing team of Product Managers and Business Concept Developers, working in an agile organisational set-up working cross-functionally in autonomous teams. We appreciate teamwork and support each other with our challenges. We always strive to improve, by having an open mindset to new insights and learnings.

Within Sales and Marketing, we at Service Portfolio and Delivery are overall responsible for Scania’s global service offerings. We are at the forefront of the transformation and in the section Service Operations you will be at the heart of driving and supporting this change for our customers and in our global service network.

We are offering a flexible work environment with the possibility to work at least part-time from home. You will also have the possibility to work from Scania’s newly opened hub downtown Stockholm. Scania’s culture is characterized by openness, diversity and respect for the individual. The people who work here are our most important asset, so we will invest in you to help you grow with us. As a Scania employee, you are offered several benefits in addition to personal and professional development opportunities. These benefits include mutual bonus, leasing car and occupational pension.

Are you what we are looking for?

You are an entrepreneurial person with a strong customer focus mind-set. You bring with you enthusiasm, a keen eye for new business opportunities and the ability to bring in new perspectives. You have an agile mindset with an understanding of service development and digital transformation. You are self-motivated, curious, well-structured, and have an open mindset.

You value team spirit and are an effective collaborator. You enjoy a large degree of flexibility both in terms of skillset and being prepared to handle fast changing situations. Previous experience in service design methodology is meriting. You have a relevant academic degree (e.g. engineering/business) and are fluent in English.
