You will be part of Ventyx, an ABB company, in Västerås. We are a young and fast growing business solutions provider offering enterprise software, energy markets data and advisory services. Our technology is also used within segments such as the mining industry as well as oil and gas. Our organization is global, as are our customers. Ventyx?s offerings are market leading and comprise a broad range of solutions to address the most critical needs of utility, power and communications companies, including network management, customer care, energy analytics, energy operations, energy trading & risk management, mobile workforce management, asset management and smart grids. The Västerås unit has 160 employees and is responsible for marketing, sales, engineering, development, delivery and commissioning of products for monitoring and control of power systems.

Challange:
Would you like to travel to different parts of the world and lead work towards successful system deliveries? At Ventyx Sweden we manage about 20 larger delivery projects on the global arena every year. Every project is performed in teams, where you will be an important member as the sole Business Consultant with electrical power competence. Your role will be to have the overall responsibility for planning and organizing work in order for us to deliver successful projects on time and in accordance with customers? expectations. More precisely this entails that you will be the technical communicator and link between Ventyx and our customers. Depending on your background you will either be responsible for the transmission, generation or distribution part of the projects. You will work with tuning network and grid applications and help customers to receive optimum operation with regard to power flows and voltage profile. For the right person, this is an exciting challenge where you in periods will make frequent business trips and meet customers from many parts of the world.

Requirements:
You have a university degree, preferably specializing in electrical power networks and grids. To this, you add extensive experience within the electrical power area and familiarity with both general power network processes and customer business processes. Further, you have excellent knowledge of power generation, transmission or distribution. You have documented competence in IT, relational databases such as Oracle and modeling of customer data. Moreover, it is advantageous if you have experience from programming and system configuration in Linux, UNIX and Windows. Basic Swedish skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken, are prerequisites, while any additional languages are qualifying. You are a curious person who enjoys exploring the technical science area in order to find new discoveries that will help us stay at the forefront of technology. You are generous with your knowledge of the electrical power area and regularly hold training sessions for coworkers and customers. On these occasions, your pedagogical skills and communicative talent are of great use. Finally, you are well organized and able to work with many things simultaneously.
