Being a new member of the crew you will be extensively trained through our Mindwell Master Class program (MMC).If you have previous experience in the field, adequate add-on training and parallel work with our senior associates will be arranged prior to engaging in live assignments.In your role you will: * Gain experience from the very forefront of the international financial industry * Work in a highly motivated team with a great spirit in a growing company that faces theoretical and practical challenges across all types of financial products * Work with the processes in investment banks and other financial institutions all the way through trading, valuation, risk management and back office processing * Travel and work with dedicated people in and outside Europe Requirements: * Strong interpersonal and social skills * Degree of Master of Science, preferably within Engineering Physics, Economics of Innovation and Growth or equivalent degree * Experience in Object Oriented architecture and programming (e.g.Java, C++, Python, C#) * You are genuinely interested in problem solving where programming skills combined with knowledge of financial theories apply * Oral and written fluency in English.Proficiency in German is highly regarded.* Open to spend periods of time travelling and working abroad Optional requirements: * Relational Databases: Sybase/Oracle/Microsoft SQL * Other software engineer skills: SQL, XML, Ruby, Pearl, SOA, Web Services * Testing/Automated tests (e.g.Junit) * Proficient using e.g.Eclipse or other development environments * Knowledge of software development methodologies and practices (RUP, XP, UP, Scrum, UML) As a consultant in a client focused role you need excellent interpersonal and communication skills.You are prepared to spend periods of time travelling and working abroad.You also possess excellent analytical skills with a strategical mindset.
